Join Beekeeper Lori Stahl for a varietal honey tasting. Learn about varieties of honey and their floral sources. Experience the subtleties and nuances of different honey varieties from round the world. We will also talk about infusing honey with herbs and flowers and you will taste several types of BeeBees All Naturals Specialty Honey.

Kokedama - Moss Planter
  
Kokedama is a form of Japanese garden art. These spherical planters are formed around the roots of plants, covered in a sheet of moss, and wrapped in twine.  

 At the workshop you will choose from one of several indoor house plants to create this unique moss planter. Planters can be fitted with a hook so that they can be hung or placed on a saucer in a sunny window.

Heart shaped Hypertufa

Join Michael Larkin for this new workshop. Each participant will make a heart shaped hypertufa container (10”x9”) . Hypertufa is a mixture of portland cement, peat and perlite. These containers can be used for: growing succulents, as a small bird feeder, or art for your garden. Each participant also will take home a small succulent to use for planting in your new container.

Herb Basket Workshop

The Pennsylvania Herb & Garden Festival will be conducting a hands-on workshop giving instructions on planting and growing herbs in containers.

During the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn about the best containers, types of soil, proper drainage and how to maintain potted herbs.

  Each participate will choose from a large variety of culinary herb plants to create their unique egg gathering basket.

Participants will learn about the use of pure essential oils in beauty and health products.  Workshop will include all materials for preparing four custom made blends. 

(1) Relaxing Roller Ball for Anxiety/Stress and Muscle Strain - Choose from Marjoram, Lavender, or doTerra's Balance Blend of spruce, cinnamon, frankincense, tansy, and chamomile.

(2) Face Cleanser - includes choice of Marjoram or Lavender both are excellent for cleansing, soothing and moisturizing.

(3) Face Moisturizing Lotion - includes choice of Marjoram or Lavender.  Marjoram is excellent for dry/aging skin.

(4) Gardeners Scrub - Great to clean and soften hands, feet and elbows.  Choice of lemon or grapefruit essential oils for luxurious feel.

 Succulent Wreath Workshop

Come and join 'Five Points Farm Market and Greenhouse' for this fun craft using real succulents! A 12" grapevine wreath will be decorated with succulent cuttings and some cute extras!

The cost of the class is $25 and includes all your supplies including a 12" wreath, succulent cuttings, extra little decor items, and glue sticks. We ask if you can that you bring a hot glue gun. We will have some there.
